Beep on BEL

When enabled, the scanner beeps when a <BEL> character is detected on

the RS-232 link. <BEL> may be used to indicate an event such as an

illegal entry.

Note: The scanner will not respond to a <BEL> character between

decode attempts if the scanner is configured for low power operation.
